Trip Pinner makes pushpin travel maps for EV enthusiasts to track their destinations and every stop along the way.

How Trip Pinner Started

Hey, it’s Will. Based out of Dallas, Texas, I’ve always kept a mental checklist of Tesla Superchargers. I track the ones I’ve been to, remember the favorites I like returning to, and plan trips around stops like those at a Buc-ee’s.

If life’s about the journey, not the destination, then why not document the journey as much as the destination?

Like most bachelors, my walls were bare. I wanted meaningful decor instead of generic art. A map made sense, and a Tesla-themed map made even more sense.

I’ve always loved the Tesla brand, and Trip Pinner is really a love letter to it, a way to celebrate the experience, design, and road-trip culture Tesla created. Not a poster or a novelty, but something beautiful that could live in a home and tell a story.

That’s how Trip Pinner was born. The name is a direct, literal play on Tesla’s native “Trip Planner.” Where that feature adds Supercharger stops to your route digitally, we add them to our maps physically.

Why EV maps?

Fast Chargers aren’t like gas stations; they’re mainly for road trips. And thanks to Tesla, they are a lot more fun than ordinary road trip fuel stops. Instead of gas stations, you get to visit standout spots like Tesla Diner, Arizona Route 66 Museum, or Yellowstone, all while you charge. Our maps show you the best chargers so you know where to stop before heading out.

The camaraderie of meeting fellow EV drivers is a real bonus. Tesla’s Full Self-Driving also adds comfort and convenience, making road trips preferable to flying in many situations.

Our maps turn Superchargers and destinations—visited, favorite, and planned—into something you can see at a glance, share, and reminisce or plan over. In a world of software and screens, they bring warm tangibility to your EV lifestyle and invite others to share in your journeys. Suddenly, EV road-tripping is something you can display and talk about.

About half of US households have a US wall map. Our maps bring them into the electric-era.

Made for EV Road-Trippers

Trip Pinner maps are the first EV pushpin travel maps. Just as Tesla makes the best vehicles, EV or otherwise, we aspire to make the best pushpin travel maps, EV or otherwise.

Trip Pinner maps include:

  • Tesla Superchargers
  • Tesla-oriented features such as Tesla-related points of interest, notable campgrounds for using Camp Mode, International Dark Sky Places for using your glass roof, and more
  • All standard map features so it can replace any standard map

From a bachelor in their first Model 3 to families with years of trips behind them to retirees checking off bucket-list drives, these maps are made to gather people around and show how far you’ve gone.
